When was the last time you told someone they should go to your favorite restaurant...you say something like..."you should go to Germantown Cafe...you'll love it"...or maybe you tell your friend how much you "love" her new shoes. When you use the term love...there are quite a few different meanings, yet most know that when you say you love the flavor of your steak, that is entirely different than saying I sure do love my kids. The heart sentiment is not there with the steak (it's the tastebuds)...but with the kids...the heart is involved.
Here are a few definitions for you to consider: Love is...
1.) a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.
2.) a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.
3.) sexual passion or desire.
4.) a person toward whom love is felt; beloved person; sweetheart.
5.) to have a strong liking for; take great pleasure in: to love music.
6.) to need or require; benefit greatly from: Plants love sunlight.
