First of all, I love you both more than life itself! I am so thankful to God for giving you to me. Raising you both has been the most exhilarating, frustrating, endearing, and rewarding part of my journey.
Brianna, you were our little Christmas gift, born on Dec. 7th, 1990. You were a delight from the very beginning. The nurses put the knit cap on your head and Nannie happened to have a little scrap of pink ribbon in her purse, so she made a little bow and stuck it on your head with toothpaste. There were no other babies in the new wing of Centennial Women’s Pavilion at the time, so you got all the oooohs and ahhhhhs from the nurses on duty. :-) We have traveled the world with you and you have always found a way to capture the hearts of people everywhere you go. I am delighted with the choices you have made and look forward to the many wonderful events in store for you in your life.
God most definitely has His hand on your lives and the enemy has tried everything he could to ruin His plan…even so far as trying to destroy our family unit. I am so proud of you for leaning on the everlasting arms of your Heavenly Father, and trusting in Him to lead us through this very difficult “bump in the road”. I know it hasn’t been easy for either of you, but you’ve handled it with tears of joy, visions of the future, and great strength that can only come from God above. You are truly my heroes!!
